北条氏の残党が盤踞していた点では信濃と同じ奥州も北畠顕家はけっこう上手く支配した。結局、建武政権の信濃統治が完全に失敗だったことが中先代の乱の原因だったのではないか。鈴木著にもその説明が必要だったのでは。

鈴木由美氏の『中先代の乱』、建武新政期に全国各地で反乱が起きていたことを詳しく説明してはくれるが、なぜに中先代の乱だけがあれだけ巨大化し、建武政権を崩壊に追い込むきっかけになったのかの説明はない。
