@kamedatoshitaka 義詮が大した人物に描かれていない点は「正史」説の致命的な欠点のように感じます。成立が義満の時代まで遅れるのだったら、さすがに義満は何か言いそうですから。結局、義満が権力を確立する前に『太平記』は成立し、人口に膾炙してしまったので、もはや義満ですら手出しできなかったのかと。

@kamedatoshitaka 谷口雄太氏が強調される新田・足利の関係に限ればそうかもしれませんね。ただ、直義は統制を試みたけれども観応の擾乱でそれどころではなくなり、直義の毒殺記事を含め、結局は統制不能となってしまったように感じます。

@kamedatoshitaka 一字拝領しない点、気位が高いのでしょうか。『太平記』の方は上杉家関係者が作者に圧力かけて変更させた、みたいな感じもしないですね。全体的に『太平記』で上杉が良く描かれている訳でもなく、こんな細かなところを直すのだったら、もっと修正要求した方がよさそうな箇所がいっぱいありますからね。
